On Thursday, 6/4, we flew up to New Jersey. Anna LOVED the bus that took us from long term parking to the terminal in New Orleans.
She enjoyed looking out of the window on the airplane.
We stayed with Shaun's Aunt Lois. Soon after we arrived, Kirstyn, Mackenzie, and Sydni came over to play. Since Kirstyn and Anna are so close in age, they played really well together!
Mackenzie told us about her walk she was participating in to fight Breast Cancer. She raised the 3rd highest amount of money and won tickets to the Bronx Zoo!
Sydni was busy with her softball and soccer teams most of the time that we were there, but the made sure to spend some time with Anna too.
Kirstyn spent the night most nights that we were in New Jersey. She and Anna really had a good time together.
Shaun's cousin, "Como Mike" also came to visit with his wife, Isabel. We had not seen them since our wedding, and we missed their wedding because of Hurricanes Katrina and Ike- their wedding was 9/24 and all flights out of LA were canceled.
Nanny gave Anna many baths in Aunt Lois's sink!
Mackenzie helped Anna to put her helmet on.
On Sunday afternoon, we drove to Wyckoff, New Jersey and ate dinner my Aunt Emily, Uncle Nick, and cousins Alec, Heather, and Nicholas. We stayed overnight and the next morning, we went to Nicholas's very own Starbucks store!
Nicholas gave Anna a cookie with M & M's, which she promptly picked out and ate, leaving the cookie. What a strange kid.
Emily saw us off from the store, promising to meet up with us again in Cooperstown on Thursday.
