Mid-March and early April were busy for us. Shaun is in the midst of golf season, so he's been working 12 and 13 hour days. Both of us are completely exhausted by the end of the week, so we haven't done a whole lot of exciting stuff, or had the time to update this blog. Here's what we've been up to:
We attended Angelina's party at the park. You can see Anna between two of her friends, Parker and Audrey.
Andrew got the "professor" look down. We think it's so funny when he peers over the top of his glasses at us!
When we finally convince Anna and Sara to go out on the field and play during the soccer games, they run around, holding hands and hugging each other :-)
Andrew discovered the joys of scavenging in Fritz's food and water bowls. Perhaps he thinks that he will turn into a dog if he eats enough dog food? Watch out, Fritz!!
Here we are at another soccer game. I just thought Drew looked SO CUTE!
Anna got to "kick off" a few times during this game.
Drew made sure the chee-wees didn't fly away.
Grandma and Grandpa came for a visit. They had been working all week on their house.
Three generations with the same haircut. We are so creative.
The little girl who lives next door to Nanny and Poppy has been giving Anna some special attention. Anna worships Emily, especially because Emily invited her to come over and jump on her big trampoline.
Andrew started crawling and pulling up this month. His legs are strong because of the extreme jumping that he does in his hanging bouncer. Perhaps both kids enjoy bouncing so much because of all of the Jazzercise I did while I was pregnant with them?
He also went in to the doctor for his 9 month checkup. He weighed 22 pounds and was 28.5 inches long- 75th percentile across the board. Luckily, he only had to get shot twice this time around.
Anna became a professional at driving her power wheels, so I allowed her to take Roo out for a spin. He seemed to enjoy it- Anna certainly did!
She pulled all of her vehicles into the carport next to my car for the "party" that she was having. I enjoyed some leaf cookies and then she told me that I had to leave.
Andrew got to stay because he brought the microphone for karaoke.
So we've got about 6 weeks until school is out for summer. We can't wait!!
