Two silly stories...

Shaun bought some Lucky Charms and made the mistake of giving Anna some. So, like any young child (and some adults), she ate all of the marshmallows, then asked for more. We told her that if she wanted more, she would have to eat the cereal part first. While we weren't looking, she knocked a bunch out of her bowl ("uh oh") and Fritz scarfed it down. We put Fritz out.

Getting desperate, Anna dumped the entire bowl on the floor. Then, to get rid of the evidence, she grabbed the little sweeper vacuum, turned it on, and cleaned up the cereal!




Early Sunday morning, we could hear Anna talking and moving around in her bed, but neither of us could muster the energy to actually get up yet. After several unsuccessful attempts to get me awake (Mommy! Mommy!), Anna tried a different idea.

"Mommy, BEEEP!"

hunh??

"Mommy, BEEEEP!"

I guess Anna realized that the alarm clock had never failed to get us out of bed...
